Auburn University's Jordan-Hare Stadium is the first stadium in the country to be named in honor of an active coach. In 1971, the name was officially changed from Cliff Hare Stadium to to it's current name. In 2004, the playing field was named Pat Dye Field in honor of the former coach of the same name.
