Tickets To Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati Benglas Tickets
Built in 2000, the Paul Brown Stadium is one of the newest venues in the NFL. Compared to other teams' venues, the stadium has a low seating capacity of 65,790. Despite the Bengals' uneven performance and mildly waning fan interest, Cincinnati Bengals tickets often sell out. This may be due to season ticket holders controlling a large portion of the seats. To avoid missing a game, consider purchasing your discount Cincinnati Bengals tickets in advance.

Cincinnati Bengals: Brown's Legacy
Paul Brown, a former head coach of the Cleveland Browns, had left professional football in disrepute. In 1963, Browns owner Art Modell fired him. 3 years later, Brown wanted another shot. Spurred by Ohio governor James A. Rhodes, Brown founded the Cincinnati Bengals franchise in 1968. Still feeling the bruises of being fired by Modell in 1963, he chose the same color as the Cleveland Browns. Today, though Paul Brown passed away in 1990, the Bengals remain an attractive draw throughout the regular season and play at Paul Brown Stadium.
A Look To The Past
When Brown was toying with the idea of starting the Bengals, there was one factor that nearly served as a deal-breaker. The terms of the deal stipulated that his team would be a part of the American Football League (AFL). At the time, the AFL was considered inferior to the NFL. Brown made a counter proposal. He would agree to join the AFL on the sole condition that his Bengals would be recognized as an NFL franchise after the approaching merger. A new deal was created and the Bengals were formed.
Brown had a unique perspective on drafting tactics. He focused on players whom he thought showed a level of intelligence that was above average. He wanted quick thinkers and effective decision-makers on his team. However, his strategy was only mildly successful. The Bengals posted a respectable record during the 1970's, attending the playoffs 3 times. But, they were defeated each year.
The Cincinnati Bengals showed further promise in the 1980's. They succeeded in reaching the Super Bowl 2 times, but were again defeated by their respective opponents. In 1990, Brown passed away and the Bengals' performance suffered dramatically. To this day, they have not won an NFL championship.
