Coming Home To INVESCO Field - Denver Broncos Tickets
In 1999, after 2 Super Bowl victories, ground broke on INVESCO Field at Mile High (its name derived from the fact that Denver sits 1 mile above sea level). A stadium that cost $364 million to build and boasted 76,125 seats opened to the public in 2001. Denver fans proved their love for the Broncos by starting a stadium tradition. When an opposing team's pass isn't caught, the fans roar, "INCOMPLETE!" To witness the Broncos in action (along with their fans' adoration), you can purchase tickets on the day of the game. To ensure that you're not surprised by a sell out, consider buying Broncos tickets well in advance.

Denver Broncos: An Untamed Beast
The Denver Broncos began playing in 1960 in the American Football League (AFL). Despite a promising start (they were one of the first AFL teams to trounce an NFL team), the franchise struggled for many years to gain the respect of other franchises. From 1960 through 1972, the Broncos posted continuous losing seasons. Due to their poor performance and poor fan turnout, finances waned. In 1965, the franchise was nearly disbanded and was barely saved by a local group of investors. After several years of disappointing numbers, the Broncos finally managed to post their first winning season in 1973.
In 1977, Red Miller came aboard as a head coach with no professional head coaching experience. However, Miller and his team stunned onlookers by first earning a seat at the playoffs and eventually, that year's Super Bowl. Though they lost, the season seemed to inspire the Denver Broncos, pushing them to deliver consistently respectable numbers for several seasons.
Elway Arrives And Finally, The Super Bowl
In 1983, amidst controversy, star quarterback John Elway came aboard the Broncos. It was the beginning of a legacy. Though the Broncos had rotated through a staff of 2 dozen starting quarterbacks since 1960, Elway made the position his own. He stayed with the team for 14 years, taking them to 5 Super Bowls. In 1997, after having finally led the Broncos to victory at Super Bowl XXXII, Elway retired at the pinnacle of his career, not to mention some quality running by Terrel Davis, who was an UGA Football player.
But, the Broncos had been inspired. The following year, the team returned to the Super Bowl and walked away with yet another title. Though Elway had retired the prior year, the Denver Broncos' legacy continued to gallop.
