San Francisco 49ers: Digging For Super Bowl Gold
In 1946, the 49ers began their career with the now defunct All-America Football Conference (AAFC). Named after the gold-digging hopefuls that arrived in San Francisco in 1849, they joined the NFL as an official franchise in 1950 and became the first team to win 5 Super Bowl titles.

What's more, the 49ers are the only NFL team in history to play in more than one Super Bowl without having lost a single Super Bowl game. Since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, the franchise has won 17 Division titles, building their image as a dominant force in professional football. Cheap San Fancisco 49ers tickets are listed below.

Legacy Of The 1980's
While the 1970's watched the 49ers control their division, the team is most noted for their success during the 1980's. The foundation that was built at the beginning of that decade served as a launch pad for the franchise's impressive record into the 1990's. Bill Walsh was brought on as head coach at the end of the 1970's. He quickly drafted the legendary Joe Montana. With Montana at the helm, the 49ers began to dominate the field. They arrived at the 1981 Super Bowl and secured the title after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals. If you want Bengals tickets, check out these cheap Cincinnati Bengals tickets.
Throughout most of the 1980's, Montana continued to lead his team valiantly and their ferocity on the field increased. They eventually dominated their division in 7 of the 10 seasons and won 3 more Super Bowl titles. By the 1990's, the franchise enjoyed an image of near indestructibility. However, due to recurring injuries suffered by Montana, Steve Young had begun to fill in for him. While the club succeeded in continuing to lead their division, they would only return to the Super Bowl once more (winning their 5th title in 1994).
Visiting Candlestick Park
Construction on the historic Candlestick Park began in 1958. Though originally built for a baseball franchise (San Francisco Giants), it has served as the home of the San Francisco 49ers since 1971. Resting on the San Francisco Bay shore, the stadium boasts a seating capacity of 70,207. While Candlestick Park is a legendary venue ingrained into the minds of sports fans around the globe, it has become outdated. Because of this, the 49ers have begun exploring a move to another location. To visit Candlestick Park and watch the 49ers in action, you can purchase tickets at prices starting at $59. That said, you may be able to buy tickets at a discount through a broker.
