St. Louis Rams: Resiliency Through The Years
Founded in 1936, the St. Louis Rams began their career in Cleveland as part of the American Football League (AFL). Soon after, Rams owner Homer Marshman learned that the NFL was planning an expansion and positioned himself and his team for the move.

The following year, the decision was made to relocate the franchise to the West Coast, settling in Los Angeles. There are discount St. Louis Rams tickets following this paragraph.

The Good Years And Bad
From the late 1940's through 1955, the Rams played with distinction. They won their division in 1949 and went on to claim the Conference titles in 1950, 1951 and 1955. Their performance converged perfectly with the rising popularity of television and in 1950, every Rams game was broadcast. However, the good times came to an abrupt end in 1956 and for the decade that followed, the club failed to post a winning season.
The 1970's And Beyond
During the 1970's, the Rams were known for their dominating defensive line. Though their offensive unit was unimpressive, they were able to ride their defense into the 1979 Super Bowl (where they were defeated by the Pittsburgh Steelers). However, despite high expectations, the decade was juxtaposed by an effective offensive line commanded by Ernie Zampese and disappointing defeats. The early 1990's saw further erosion of the Rams' fan base and in 1995, the franchise relocated once again; this time, the landed in St. Louis. The club's return to respectability came in 1999, when the Rams would trounce the Tennessee Titans at that year's Super Bowl.
A Day At The St. Louis Dome
In the heart of S. Louis, Missouri rests the 66,000-seat Edward Jones Dome, home of the Rams since it was erected in 1995. Because tickets to the Rams' home games seldom sell out, they can usually be purchased on the day you plan to attend. Normal single game tickets are priced between $40 and $125 and are available online or through a broker. Because the Rams haven't shown much momentum during the past few seasons, fan loyalty is waning. However, to safely ensure you can acquire tickets, you should consider buying them a few days in advance.
